About

The Front Mission franchise is a collection of video games and related media. Sadly, many of the video games and media in the franchise were never released outside of Japan. The project brings together a highly-motivated and dedicated team of Front Mission fans who have taken it upon themselves to produce a high-quality English translation of the games. We started with Front Mission 5: Scars of the War™ and we are now continuing with Front Mission 2™ and Front Mission: Alternative™. We are also producing a high-quality plot guide and a video series showing the complete Front Mission storyline.

We do not condone piracy in any form. We respect all Square Enix Co., Ltd. copyrights and trademarks as fully as possible. This is a purely voluntary, not-for-profit localization effort. We do this for love, not profit, of the franchise. We hope Square Enix Co., Ltd. will have empathy and understanding in this matter.

The Team

Who would be brave, crazy, and indomitable enough to make stand, translate Front Mission video games, and educate people (outside of Japan) about this horribly forgotten diamond in the rough? Well, a team of 20-40 somethings would! From project managers, software developers, teachers, military personnel, and even political analysts, we're a pretty chill, lively, and surprisingly global (this is a multi-continental project!) bunch.
